On March 9, 2020, the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) released two highly anticipated final rules for the 21st Century Cures Act. These final rules focus on patient data access, information blocking, pricing transparency, and interoperability. Much like previously published rules, implementation will take place over the course of a few years.
We’ve put together a timeline to help you stay on track as you work to adopt new technologies to meet these regulations. The dates on this timeline have been updated to reflect adjustments made by ONC in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
